I’m sure it’s a completely random selection in my inner jukebox, but this morning, I woke up singing Only When ur Lonely by Ginuwine. For some, this is a blast from the past, and for others, this is an introduction to a classic track on a classic debut album.

Reflecting on a recent date with the young lady I like, I handled my anger poorly in a cluster of bad decisions. The song I woke up with stuck in my head has some lyrics that are eerily on the nose. Feels like I’m in a movie or something.

This morning, I woke up singing ‘I Was Made to Love Her’ by Stevie Wonder. After I finish playing the song in my head on repeat, I’ll tell Siri to shuffle songs by Stevie Wonder. I’ll probably sing until my voice starts fading. The recipe for a great start.

This morning, I woke up singing Make You Feel My Love by Straight No Chaser. It’s mostly humming until I get to the hook.

Maybe your ears will recognize the song Transformation of Pachelbel’s Canon by Nanae Mimura, but have you heard it played on the marimba? That’s the song in my head right now. Enjoy!

The song in my head right now After Last Night by Silk Sonic – who are making music for the year 3022.

The song in my head right now is Sho’Nuff by Tela featuring 8Ball and MJG. Like most 90s Rap, the lyrics remind me that a magical romantic act was made negative.

The song in my head right now is Sam Cooke’s Bring It On Home To Me.

There’s a song playlist living in my head full of songs that make me want to play an instrument. The song in my head this morning is the classic I Write Sins Not Tragedies by Panic! at the Disco, and I want to play drums right now.

Here’s Tell Him by Lauryn Hill — the song in my head at bed time.
