I have difficult tasks to do today. I’m start the morning with cardio to make sure I’m up for it.
I’m not up for it though. Having that thought helps me acknowledge I’m not objectively viewing accomplishing the tasks.
I’m not in that sweet spot in my thoughts where I have to do something, and my brain acknowledges the thing as something that IS getting done. An absolute that my emotions will have zero to little impact on my carrying out the tasks. No, I’m not there – not in this moment.
My focus on the bigger picture will get me there. I’m optimistic that I’ll do what I gotta do.
