How did you get it in here??

I like the idea of home furniture that prompts visitors to ask how I got the unique piece inside our home. I’ve been daydreaming about a mega lounge sofa I want to build for a living room/common area.

I visualize the peace in my thoughts. It’s a large sofa with an elliptical shape. It’s built into the floor so that the entire base/bottom is a seating area for anyone who wants to sit on the floor. The sofa has seat cushions at regular sofa height with a soft cushioned back wrapping around the entire sofa.

I don’t know fabrics well, but I like the idea of a plush but firm fabric. Maybe like a velvet or microfiber leather. Maybe there is some real wood in there somewhere – like along the back of the sofa. Or maybe the back of the sofa has more sofa seats so two people can sit back to back. I already told you I was daydreaming.
