My daughter, Maddalyn(8) started calling me Mr Dad. She’s hilarious for it, and I’m more and more certain my kids are mine.
My girlfriend has two daughters, ages 11 and 7, who both call me Mr Michael. My daughter is a huge fan of the girls, — who I’ve affectionately nicknamed Las Niñas — and some weeks ago, she began calling me Mr Dad. Clearly, my sense of humor is rubbing off on my kids in a fantastic way.
Of all my qualities I enjoy seeing in my kids, my sense of humor is the favorite. It’s hilarious every time Maddalyn says it. Thank you for that, Daughter.
