Today, I got invited to church — Oakwood University Church. That’s something new that happened. I like people who invite others to church. They’re usually kind and well-meaning humans. Those are my favorite kind, by the way.
I like being invited to things in general, but being invited to church is a little bit special. Someone wants you to come and hear the good news. They want you to witness a certain magic they experience when they go to that church. Also, a church invitation is almost never delivered with pressure to oblige.
I like people who invite me to church.
