Coming through the gate, the guard on duty told me I look too young to be retired after looking at my ID. I got to proudly say I’m 41 asked my age and say, “4 years in September” when asked how long I’ve been retired.
Needless to say it was a very nice oxytocin pump that just happened to come shortly after a really great massage.
But also damn — almost 4 years have past since I left active duty! Geez😮😮
