Good news: Carvana is covering the HRV’s surprise dents and dings. That makes me feel better about my purchase. Other good news is my portfolio website is going smoothly.
After the HRV comes back, it’s getting posted on Turo — maybe before it comes back.
React Portfolio update
Also, good news is that I’ve been really knocking down my React Portfolio website. It’s like with a coming soon page for now: https://sm3dev.github.io/michaelpwright-portfolio/.
It’s hosted on GitHub Pages which is pretty awesome. You can host a free website there.
I’m building my portfolio to be a usable react template. I’m also building it super-compartmented. The components have one function each. When extra functions are needed, I write them in a Helper.js file, and import them where needed.
The design of Project details is something I’m really looking forward to making. It’ll be my first try at making a page(view) transition from swiping left/right.
Below are a couple screenshots of the wireframe I drew in Figma. I built only the mobile version. I’m experimenting with building the mobile layout first because I want to see if the drawing mobile first makes the building part easier.
