I don’t think I’ll ever feel completely comfortable with someone driving away in my car. Sure, I trust the insurance coverage and the mishap reporting processes. There’s still that 5% of me that’s uneasy when a Turo Guest leaves with my CRV.
My that nervousness settles eventually over time. Maybe it won’t happen for me unless I have a fleet of cars doing Turo. Maybe I’m still a stingy kid inside. I don’t know. Who knows?
I started renting out my second car in the last week of June 2021. My Honda CRV’s 30th trip began this afternoon. I feel very good about the Driver. In fact, most of my Turo Guests have been great; I’d say 4 out of 5 have been good apples.
