My MacBook Pro shipped straight from the mountains of Shanghai, China, and I’m celebrating with a photo of my daughter, Maddalyn, from November 2017. No, there’s no connection to the Apple laptop and my daughter’s face. It’s just that at the movement, both of these give me great joy.
In the photo, she’s playing in my little sister’s backyard in Memphis, Tennessee. She’s wearing an Air Force sage green wool cap, and she’s within two weeks of her second birthday. Few things give me more peace than my childrens’ faces.
