Maybe I was a little bit ambitious by thinking today I’d be ready to have my app looked over and approved for MVP.
I started to walk through the website and demo all of the things. I quickly ran into a problem with two of my forms. I won’t go into the details, but the short version is I have one property value that is a Boolean property, and I can’t get a goddamn radio or checkbox to save the damn value as a Boolean value in the database — instead of the goddamn string values it keeps putting in there.
I’ve got a headache, and I’m going to sleep early with a glass of milk and a sumatriptan tablet. The headache is probably from screen time. Either way, I’m skipping over that particular property and moving on with checking the rest of the application’s functionality — tomorrow.
Also while typing this, I just remembered that I never made any delete buttons. So, technically I wouldn’t have been ready for MVP anyway without the delete functionality.
It wasn’t a long day. It was a really fast one.
