Sometimes, I receive a Facebook friend request from someone I’m sure I’ve already friended. In some cases, I’ll check my friend’s list and see that the person requesting is still in my Friend’s List. I’ve started denying re-adds with swift prejudice.
In 2021, these excuses for creating a new Facebook account are not acceptable:
- “I lost my password”
- “I got a new phone”
- “I deleted the facebook app, but I reinstalled it”
- “I stopped using facebook in year ####”
