I got to enjoy M. Night’s latest movie, Old. I looked forward to watching this one to see how the Master of Twist made it make sense – what a mind job. Here’s my comprehensive, spoiler-free review of Old:
- Weirdest season of Survivor ever!
- M. Night really pulled off a surprise twist wrapped in a didn’t-see-that-coming twist inside of a basic plot twist – a Triple Twist
I definitely recommend this to a friend who likes to put the pieces together only to be pleasantly surprised that the story went somewhere different – those who love a good “ooooooh” moment.
I can’t not spoil parts of the movie
To be completely honest, I don’t think there’s much I can say about the movie without dropping spoilers. I tried. I have a list of cryptic phrases that definitely give major clues, and I just couldn’t do that.
That is giving me a content idea: maybe I could publish reviews with spoilers and reviews without spoilers. It’s something I’ll think on then either do or not do. Realistically, I’ll probably just op for reviews with spoilers, so I don’t have to do so much thinking about filtering myself. We’ll see what happens
