I watched Black Widow, and I’ll be back again at least once. I enjoyed it, and I think Scarlett Johansson Jost owns that role. She kills it.

Here’s my complete and comprehensive review that might totally contain spoilers — hard to know where the line is these days.

On the Black Widow movie:

  • A little bit Jason Bourne, a little bit Terminator parts 1 & 2
  • The action is 5 Stars
  • That “Chinese Connection” scene will give me nightmares: a bright red room full of attractive vegan warrior women with kung fu who are all mad at me
  • Hey, they stole that one scene from the Gun Kata routine in Equilibrium! You know the one
  • Red Guardian has gotta keep his hands up and GUARD that chin
  • Dad and sister are hilarious
  • *South Park Goth Kid voice*: “Such a poser”
  • Taskmaster had hands x 1000. It was like Taskmaster got the Timer power up from Smash Bros every time a fight started
  • Johansson in the white snowsuit reminds me of a gender-bending Storm Shadow cosplay, and I wish I had more thumbs 👍🏾👍🏾
  • Scarlett Johansson Jost did pretty damn good though – especially her Wing Chun and Krav Maga. They should’ve given her a movie years ago, then we’d be watching part 2
  • Wait, was that the original iPad Mini??
  • Entertaining movie. Great action. Good fighting. Warm fuzzies. I just wanted the villains to be more of a problem
  • Red. Room. Special. All through the night. Baby, it’s yours (all yours)…geez what has my loins so wound up right now. I’m one thought from leg-humping!

Overall, I would recommend this movie to a friend.
