Today, I discovered the Trinity Audio WordPress plug-in while reading an article on Forbes.com. Forbes uses WordPress, by the way.
I immediately installed the free app on michaelpwright.com. The plug-in scan everyone of my journal posts and created an audio file with them. Now, you can listen to a mildly robotic male voice reading my post. For now, audio is only available on the desktop/non-AMP version of post pages. That’s means, if you’re on a mobile device, scroll to the bottom of the page and click View Non-AMP Version.
I’m all about audio posts and essays. I would record my daily posts in my voice, but that would just take way too much time. I don’t have the level of readership to justify the amount of time that would take.
Automation is better anyway.
