Talking into a walkie-talkie continues to perplex my daughter. She and I sat down this morning to go through a one on one demonstration and practice. She left happy and confident in her ability to talkie on the walkie.
Minutes later, she was back to pressing and letting go of the button while trying to talk on the device. It’s hilarious. I mean it’s pure comedy.
The walkie-talkie hurdle has become one of those endearing things my younger child does that makes her this character who is not her mom or me but all Maddalyn.
This is who my daughter is with walkie talkies at age 5.
