Empathy isn’t a weakness. I get how empathy is misinterpreted.
A dictionary novel I’m reading reminded me if that. The book mentions that empathy for an enemy shouldn’t be mistaken for weakness. It’s easy enough to see why understanding an enemy is advantageous.
But I’d like to think of the message with respect to judging our interactions with anyone. A quality interaction or relationship depends on mutual understanding. Empathy is necessary.
