Do we really need seasons anymore?

Maybe we don’t need seasons anymore. If we just eliminated seasons altogether, we’d also remove our expectations of how those seasons should behave — with respect to weather and temperatures.

Am I crazy? I feel like removing my expectations for the weather based on dates would save us all a lot of stress.

Let’s just get rid of them or call them something us, ya know? How ‘bout we just speak in terms of quarters? First quarter, second quarter, etc.

Also, if we get rid of months then I don’t have to try so hard to remember on which month exactly Fall starts.

I don’t know. It would give me peace of mind. Maybe I’ll just ignore the season personally.
