Today, I feel like listening to Graduation by Kanye West on repeat.
It’s one the albums that doesn’t sound his other albums in the same way 808’s and Heartbreaks stands out.

Admittedly, this was an album that had to grow on me. I was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in northern Louisiana. I remember playing the CD in my Panasonic stereo with the 5-disc changer and double tape deck (I’ve kept that stereo just in case I need to make a mixtape as an ironic gift).
Graduation was the first Kanye West album — beats he made for other artists aside — where I started to realize his creative range had no boundaries.
