Had an exam appointment with a VA-contracted Psychologists to talk about my claim of Major Depressive Disorder. It’s nice being asked about how you’re doing.
I have two other appointments this month for two other claimed conditions. It feels really, really good getting this stuff off my back. I’m exhausted thinking about it.
I’ve decided to fire my current psychiatrist at North Alabama Psychiatrist Association. The lady has no intention of helping me. I’m wasting my time taking a new drug or combination of drugs so she can guess at another formula. I’ve let appointments there go on too long. I’m also waisting money with $30 copays each visit. I can go to the VA for mental health treatment with no fee because my disability rating is high enough
So yeah, it’s time to head to the VA and talk with someone else.
