I thought I was a GD poet! In an old sketchpad, I found a poem I wrote about a friend with the bluest bright blue eyes I’d ever seen before and since – Diamond Eyes, 26 May 2001.
May of 2001, I was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL. At 20 years old, my libido was hardcharging at level 1000, and I was navigating a series of infatuations.
