I’ve re-introduced intermittent fasting. By far, it’s the easiest diet method want me to stick to.
The only requirement is to go along time without eating. Easy! It doesn’t require any thinking at all and takes very little discipline. I don’t have to modify my grocery list for keto or low-carb or vegan.
I don’t like disrupting my established systems and routines. Because intermittent fasting is so passive, it offers a path of least resistance.
Why do I care about dieting again?
I want to fit in my nice clothes without having to buy more. Losing weight has an economical benefit. I want to not spend money on new clothes more than I want to eat whatever I want, wherever I want.
I will need my nicer clothes for presentations and speeches in business communication class at UAH – Business and Professional Communication.
On the surface, it’s kind of a pain in the ass. But, it’s one I’m grateful for. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I rarely find the motivation to achieve a goal inside myself — that’s to say my goals are almost always attached to some external source.
The class gives me a reason to lose weight, so by the transitive property, the class gives me a reason to do intermittent fasting.
