There is no more adrenaline spiking feeling than getting these ridiculous hard math problems correct.
Why do I care about the math so much? First, thanks for asking.
For me, Math has been the only subject I’ve ever felt confident. I’m not exaggerating. Yes, writing (even expository) is not included in that short list of favorite subjects because writing for grades has so many rules that I do a lot of second-guessing and my creativity feels hindered. But Math is numbers, and there are only 10 of them, and therefore Math is more simple than other subjects!
What is the last Math you took and why did you do that to yourself?

Why I get a little jolt of life when I answer a homework problem correctly in my Math for Professional Applications (MA120-01)? Well, because this sh*t is f***** hard. And maybe possibly because my last math class was a College Algebra CLEP in the memorable year 2004. I’m not complaining BTW. I asked for this. In fact, my academic advisor offered me a lesser math class, and I said in so many words ‘I got this, fam’.
MA-120 will just required a little more dedicated attention.
