Going to Sleep Playing an Audiobook

My dreams are not going as planned. I set a sleep timer in Audible, so I can get through the audiobook Dune faster — theoretically. How that should work is that I hear the book while sleeping and play out the story in my dreams.

Sounds logical, right? Well, it’s not working BUT I did hear pieces of it while dreaming (a dream I can’t remember) except instead of picturing a story, I heard the narration in the form of an intercom.

I’m going to experiment with changing the playback speed. I think we think faster when sleeping, so maybe if the story is playing fast enough, I’ll keep up with it.

We’ll see what happens.
