Internet went out for at least 6 hours today. I used the iPad as a hotspot and continued watching TV. My ISP is WOW! — the only non-dish option at my apartment complex as these things go.
I can’t help but wonder why haven’t cable companies created redundancies for their networks. Is it just a thing that civilian networks don’t care enough about uptime to residents? Maybe I’m not smart enough to understand these things.
But I know high-speed internet has been around for more than two decades, and it seems this problem should have a fix.
