I’m due to renew my lease next month. I’ve decided a two-bedroom apartment is too small for me and the kids. They need their own room. Well, need is a strong word. Their dad needs them to have their own spaces for the sake of his sanity and developing their individuality – which is a fancy way of saying I’d like to mitigate my children’s superfluous need to compete with each other. So, we’re going to upgrade to a 3+ bedroom home within the next 18 months.
Hopefully, I’m using the word superfluous correctly. In my head, it feels right, and the definition works well enough.
Anyway, I’m going to do more research on first-time home buying and dive into a company called America’s Home Place (weird name). The company builds homes after letting you pick through models and map out the details.
