The kids and I hit the pool today. I wanted to bail by the time lunchtime rolled around, my daughter had already been corrected by standing with her hands against the wall, opening-closing the garage door 20 times while counting out loud(she leaves the door open A LOT, and I believe repetition is a powerful tool for developing habits), popped on the hand, and sent to nap early.
But yeah we had lunch and went to the pool sometime before dinner time. It was great, and I’m glad I didn’t bail on taking them.
Saturday’s I never feel like I recover from the drive to Meridian, MS to pick up the kids. My having to drive so far is a problem that has to be fixed in family court. It will be. Soon.
