I know I’ve mentioned before that the kids and I makeup words.
It’s pure entertainment for me especially the sound effects. Maybe one day someone will ask me my favorite part of fatherhood, and I want to remember how much I loved this.
OY-HEEB!
“OY-HEEB!” is an expression I say when I pick up something heavy or either of the kids (pretty much just my daughter. My son is almost 60 lbs. He doesn’t get picked up anymore.).
My daughter has picked it up, and her voice makes it sound hilarious. My little girl’s voice can best be described by imagining a cartoon adult being shrunken to 1/4 of their normal size.
It’s perfect and adorable.
