This morning I got some very disturbing and expensive news. But I reacted a lot better than I feel like I should have. Maybe I’m growing up.
I had every right to fly off the handle, fume, cuss, and promise to make some more phone calls. Instead of any of that, I realized in this situation there was very little I could control, then I chose an out of character reaction.
It gave me a weird peace – calm energy that feels almost foreign. It’s like my inner me saying it’s not that big.
