Both of the kids talked to me tonight.
My daughter answered. My son got on to ask if I bought a new robot — to replace the defective one I sent back last week. I told him I got him a drone that flies. So the answer was yes and no. Amazon is not the place to buy toy robots.
My Tomato Sounded Squashed
My daughter sounded sad. I suspect she got in trouble, or she’s sick. She didn’t want to hang up when I asked her to say good night. That was new. It made my heart feel good.
I asked her some questions. She eventually said something about saying good-bye, then hung before I could say ‘goodnight’.
We’re still working on our phone etiquette.
