Today, I’m grateful for humility.
A long time friend my age reminded me that not everyone develops the skills self-reflection or introspection.
If you’re not able to sit to take a humble seat, you’ll miss out on the opportunities life gives you to learn about yourself.
And even when you do learn about yourself — the mirror is held by your hand or someone else’s, figuratively — it takes another level of humility to take action. Goes without saying that if when look at that reflection and see nothing harmful, you might not consider changing.
Introspection
Introspection is a skill that can become a habit.
I have a theory that self-reflecting, analyzing, and taking actions to correct yourself can also become habits.
