Bubblehead, Home Ownership, Rental Property

Two months from now, I’ll be moved from South Carolina.

It’s probably too long coming. I could name him reason why I put it off, it doesn’t really matter. The biggest reason was that I don’t like moving.

This whole moving thing has he thinking a lot about Bubblehead (Bubblehead is the name of the home I will build).

I’ve been thinking about all that home ownership, really.

Today, in particular, I thought about solar paneling the room of my Quonset Hut dream home. I haven’t yet done the research on that kind of situation, so I wonder about the feasibility. Can it be done by sacrificing the integrity of the huts sections?

It’s a weird place to be in: thinking about the home you want to build that could be 5-10 years away.

I wonder a lot about the numbers and credit and if I really want to own a home (vs owning as rental property).

I think it’s likely that 10 years from now, maybe more, that I will want that rocking chair on the porch dream. It also makes sense that I might need a 10-year headstart on making it happen.

Renting and rental properties feels like a better match for the lifestyle I want to have at the moment.
