Looks like I have a new hype me up song in J. Cole’s Middle Child.
Today, I put together a short list of ageless songs that put me in the mood to give 110% to any activity. The songs I would play before going on a stage to give a speech. The songs I want to hear when I’ve been coding for hours and hit a snag. One of those songs I’ll play as loudly as possible when I’m getting thoughts on screen or paper (writing) and the ideas are coming faster than I can record the words, and when I want to shut out the world because creative energy much more wise, intelligent, and enlightened than me wants to speak through me, and I don’t want to miss one bit of the transmission!
