Today, I’ve been thinking a lot about human advancement.
Specifically, I’m considering the contrast between the technological advances in a nation like mine versus metaphysical advances of rural tribes in the Brazilian rain forests.
In my logic, it seems that human beings inevitably advance. And an argument can be made that the entities a group values most are those that advance most.
I think I want to write about this later. And also I want to find the studies someone else has done with rural tribes and civilizations.
In short, it makes sense to me that wherein a culture who values spiritual wellbeing most, the members of said group could be unmeasurablely more mentally resilient and emotionally stable. Such a group could might even be less vulnerable to physical ailments and biological impairments.
