A Night at the Movies via Facebook Post

I’m not really a magnet for ‘bad luck’.

I go to the movies at the latest possible times to limit the amount of people and primarily to avoid kids.

Damned if a family didn’t bring two toddlers to a 10:30pm John Wick 3 show.

They let one of them watch cartoons without a headset.

And you might think “Maybe they couldn’t find a sitter or didn’t have the cash for one“.

But I be damned if they didn’t leave the theater and load into a BMW X5.

At one point in the movie, I said loudly and pissed off-ly “Man, turn down the volume!” Then immediately thought “I might have to fight these kid’s dad”. And I was cool with the idea of getting in some fight club style action because the heavy bag isn’t really doing it — probably need to splurge on a 100lb.

I ended up snitching to staff and that helped. Not with the kids and the phone. It helped calm me down. Which was cool. I wanted to go straight home after the movie and not have to wait on a police report.
