Podcasting Blogger is the news right now. It’s about 40% of what I think about working on right now.
I’m a little tripped up with where to start. But I know that I want to get out information on how to began recording. That’s probably the most important thing to anyone who doesn’t already have audio on their blog.
These are my ideas so far:
- An ebook with the must have plugins, recording software tips, hosting options, audio production tips, broadcasting and promoting tips, and a start to finish checklist. This would be the overall email lead. PDF file with links. All new subscribers retrieve this instantly – “Instant Access”. Seven days after eBook is sent, a typeform survey is sent to ask about things like what was most helpful, least helpful, could be improved, left out, etc.
- Timed email sequence or autoresponder with information specific to each category of email subscriber determined by the boxes each person checked when signing up.
- Initial survey to ask “What is your biggest pain point with adding audio to your content?” Not sure yet where I’ll put this question. I think I’ll try out adding it to the confirmation email and adding it as an exit question on the “thank you for signing up page” to see which gets more hits.
These are what I have to work on. I think I’ll drop a portion of the eBook until the whole thing is complete. It makes sense that what I can get done immediately is the checklist.
