I played a lot of Words with Friends today. Definitely dodging being constructive.
A cool Netflix documentary about the failed Fyre Festival. I was completely glued to it. There was something spectacular about watching something so big fail so much.
I think part of the appeal was watching the created of it be delusional. That might sound crass. What was fascinating was how strongly the creators of the festival held onto their pride.
It made me wonder how well someone with a dream can distinguish between optimism and delusion.
It’s easy to laugh about it all, but the people the attendees and investors didn’t deserve paid for some really expensive lessons. But worst was all those Bahamian workers. Nobody deserved that.
